The EVA Check-in App is designed to streamline event check-in processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for attendees. This system categorizes users based on their registration status and provides appropriate check-in options, messages, and button functionalities. The following guide outlines the different check-in scenarios and their respective behaviors.

EVA Check-in App - Check-In Scenarios

1) Confirmed Status

a) Only Check-In

  • Single Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Check In"

  • Multiple Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in again.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Check In"

b) Check and Print Badge

  • Single Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Print Badge"

  • Multiple Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in again.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Print Badge"

2) Attended Status

a) Only Check-In

  • Single Check-In: The system displays a validation message.

    • Message: "You are already checked in."

    • Displayed on: QR Code or Search Page

    • Buttons: "Ok"

  • Multiple Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in again.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Check In"

b) Check and Print Badge

  • Single Check-In: The system displays a validation message.

    • Message: "You are already Checked In. Do you want to re-print the badge?"

    • Displayed on: QR Code or Search Page

    • Buttons: "Yes", "Cancel"

  • Multiple Check-In: Simply allow the user to check in again.

    • Buttons: "Edit", "Check In", "Check In and Re-Print Badge"

3) Other Status (To be Invited, Pending, Waitlist, Cancelled)

  • Validation message: The system displays a validation message on the QR Code or Search Page.

a) Only Check-In

  • Single Check-In:

    • Message: "Your registration is not confirmed, please see the registration desk."

  • Multiple Check-In:

    • Message: "Your registration is not confirmed, please see the registration desk."

b) Check and Print Badge

  • Single Check-In:

    • Message: "Your registration is not confirmed, please see the registration desk."

  • Multiple Check-In:

    • Message: "Your registration is not confirmed, please see the registration desk."
