Homepage Settings: Editing the Overlay Section

What is the Overlay Section? 
The Overlay Section is the top part of the homepage. It enables you to add text over the top homepage banner. 

1. To make edits to the event platform page, log into the event platform and access the admin page


EVA Tip: You can only make changes to the event platform with Admin access


2. On the left column, click on Website Builder, and in the drop-down menu that appears, click Homepage Settings



3. From here, you can access all the available options and settings for your event platform homepage; click Overlay Section at the top to access the Overlay Section



4. To enable the Overlay Section, check the box labeled Is Overlay Section?  then add your Overlay Title and Description

EVA Tip: To remove the Overlay Section, uncheck the box 


5. To save your changes, click the Update button at the bottom of the page


EVA Tip: Your changes will show up automatically on the homepage. If you do not see your changes, refresh the page and ensure your cache & cookies are cleared.
