Import CSV: How to Import Your Own CSV File

What is a CSV File? 
A "Comma-Separated Values" or CSV File is a text file where information is separated by commas. You can use CSV files to mass-upload content such as speaker information, exhibitor staff contact information, user names and email addresses, and much more. 1. To make edits to the event platform page, log into the event platform and access the admin page

EVA Tip: You can only make changes to the event platform with Admin access


2. In the left column, click on Tools, then click Import CSV in the drop-down menu that appears.



3. Click the Choose File button and select the CSV file you are going to upload from your computer files.



4. Select the type of file from the dropdown menu



5. Click Import CSV

EVA Tips: EVA will only accept CSV or TXT files, and all files must follow the CSV Sample File templates. To learn about downloading CSV Sample Files, click here


6. You will be sent to the CSV Statistics page. It will show you the total rows in your file, the number of duplicates, and the number of new records. Click View & Insert to import new records
