Matchmaking Categories: How to Edit and Delete Matchmaking Categories
What are Matchmaking Categories?
A Matchmaking Category is a topic or subject of interest used to match people up for networking opportunities during an event.
1. To make edits to the event platform page, log into the event platform and access the admin page
EVA Tip: You can only make changes to the event platform with Admin access
2. On the left column, hover your mouse over Attendee Engagement, and in the drop-down menu that appears, click Matchmaking Categories
3. You can see all the Matchmaking Categories you have created here. To edit a Matchmaking Category, click the green button with the checkbox icon under Action next to the Matchmaking Category you want to edit.
4. You can edit the Matchmaking Category's name, and status, and determine if it is a child/subsection of another matchmaking category.
5. To save your changes click the Update button. To discard your changes click the Cancel button
6. To delete a Matchmaking Category click the red button with the trashcan icon under Action next to the Matchmaking Category you want to delete.
