Create Tickets for an Event

Overview

The Ticket Feature in EVA Event Tech Hub simplifies ticketing for event organizers and attendees by offering a seamless, secure, and flexible solution. From ticket creation to distribution and management, this feature ensures a hassle-free experience while maximizing attendance and revenue.

Below are are steps for how to Navigate to this feature on Salesforce:

  1. Open “EVA Event Tech Hub” App (Refer to “How to open EVA Event Tech Hub App”)
  2. Open Event Builder (Refer to the article “How to navigate to Event Builder”)
  3. Open Ticket Menu (Event Builder > Tickets Menu Page).

New Ticket - You can create new tickets for the Event.




Ticket Table- All the created ticket details will show on this page.



  1. Event -This will auto populate the event name mentioned on the Event Info. page.
  2. Ticket Name - Enter the name of the ticket you want to create.
  3. Price Type - You can either create a Free or a Paid Type ticket.
  4. Price - For Paid type you can mention the price of the ticket here.
  5. Available Quantity - You can set the available quantity of the ticket.
  6. Item Type - You can either create a Registrant Ticket, Child Ticket or an Add-On.
  7. Visibility - You can either select for All Users or to be Visible via Pathway created.
  8. Waitlist Allowed - If you want a waitlist purchase on tickets then mark the checkbox.
  9. Max Waitlist Available Quantity - You can put the available quantity of the waitlist ticket.
  10. Waitlist Purchased Quantity - You can set the purchase limit for the users.



Item Type- For a Child Ticket you need to associate it with any Registrant Ticket also. You can also make the child ticket as Mandatory Purchase or Optional Purchase by marking the checkbox.




Item Type- For an Add-on Ticket you get an additional option to Set the Maximum and Minimum Purchase quantity.




Ticket Timings - Select the Start and End date of the ticket along with the it’s timings.
Description - Give a short description for the ticket.
Discount Code - If the ticket is linked to any Ticket Specific Discount code then that code will populate here.
